From September 11 to 15, 2026, the traditional Festa del Perdono returns to downtown Reggello—one of the most eagerly anticipated events of late summer. Five days of activities for all ages, including sports, performances, music, games, photography exhibitions, and the unmissable traditional events, such as the Palio dei Campanili, the Tombola, the Fair, and the fireworks display.
Piazza Potente and the historic center will be the heart of the event, with a program that will also include the Palazzetto dello Sport and the Ponte a Enna Visitor Center.
The Program for the 2026 Festival of Forgiveness
Friday, September 11
The festival kicks off with a focus on sports.
- 3:30–5:30 p.m. – Rides at a special price of 1 euro.
- Starting at 7:00 p.m. – Piazza Potente – Sports in the Square: an exhibition featuring local sports clubs, with opportunities for children, teens, and adults to try table tennis, tennis, basketball, and soccer for free.
- 9:00 p.m. – Piazza Potente – Sports Awards Ceremony, featuring the presentation of certificates and plaques to the clubs and athletes who distinguished themselves during the 2025–2026 season.
- 10:30 p.m. – Piazza Potente – DJ set with Cristian Laurini.
Saturday, September 12
- 10:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. – Ponte a Enna Visitor Center – Photography exhibition “The Essence and the Enchantment,” featuring photographs by Simona Bellini, organized by Viandare con Trekking in collaboration with the Arno Photography Club.
- 9:30 p.m. – Palazzetto dello Sport – “Champions on the Ice, Show Dance,” featuring international guests, presented by Magilù Dance Dream in collaboration with the Locanda dei Cantonieri in Leccio.
- 9:30 p.m. – Piazza Potente – The traditional Palio dei Campanili is back, organized by the Pro Loco associations of Reggello and Cascia.
Sunday, September 13
A day dedicated to fun and celebrating the local heritage.
- 5:00 p.m. – Piazza Potente – “Good, Gnome, and Bad, ” a children’s show presented by Terzo Studio.
- 7:00 p.m. – Piazza Potente – Bingo, organized by Caritas in collaboration with Pro Loco Reggello and Cascia.
- 9:15 p.m. – Piazza Potente – Screening of the film “Reggello in the ’70s, ” directed by Patrizio Bonciani.
Monday, September 14
- 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. – Reggello Historic Center – Traditional Market, a must-see event of the Festa del Perdono.
Tuesday, September 15
The final day combines photography, entertainment, and music before the grand finale.
- All day long – Loggiato di Piazza Potente – Photography exhibition “Seen in Reggello: Portraits of Reggello Residents and Others… from Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.”
- 9:15 p.m. – Piazza Potente – “Dieci chiari di luna,” a performance by the Compagnia della Luna celebrating ten years of artistic activity through excerpts from the musicals the company has staged and live music.
- 11:00 p.m. – The traditional fireworks display that will officially bring the 2026 Festa del Perdono to a close.
Five days to come together in the heart of Reggello and bid farewell to summer, with events that have become part of the tradition as well as new opportunities for socializing, sports, culture, and fun.
