80th Anniversary of the Liberation: Reggello Remembers and Celebrates the Resistance

The year 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of Italy’s Liberation from Nazi-Fascism, a crucial moment in our history that marked the country’s democratic rebirth. The Municipality of Reggello, on the occasion of this anniversary, is promoting a calendar of initiatives designed to reflect, share and renew the founding values of the Resistance: freedom, justice and participation.

A valuable opportunity to come together as a community and pay tribute to those who, with courage and determination, fought for a better future.

Thursday, April 24 – 9 p.m.

An intense and real story that gives voice to the last testimony of a child who survived the Nazi concentration camps.

Friday, April 25 – Liberation Day

Departure of the bus from Reggello (Piazza IV Novembre, in front of the school) to Mount Secchieta, with wreath laying at the Partisans’ Memorial Stone.

“Yesterday, Today and Always Resistance” – Moment open to citizens to remember the partisan struggle, followed by a convivial time.

“Partisan Stories” – Reflections and testimonies on the Resistance, in collaboration with the ANPI Rignano-Reggello Section. Final conviviality with those present.
