Visiting Vallombrosa by RV or car is the ideal way to discover one of the most picturesque spots in the Reggello area. Nestled in the famous forest of centuries-old fir trees and just a short walk from the Abbey of Vallombrosa, the area offers parking options designed for those who want to enjoy nature in complete tranquility.
RV Parking Area – Former Sawmill Parking Lot in Vallombrosa
The RV Park, located at the former sawmill parking lot in Vallombrosa, is a convenient starting point for exploring the forest, the abbey, and the many hiking trails in the area.
The area is located about 500 meters from the Abbey of Vallombrosa, which can be reached via a pleasant walk through the woods. From here, you can set out on hiking trails, mountain bike excursions, and visits to the main natural and cultural attractions.
Rates and Payment Period
From June through September, paid parking is in effect every day, including holidays, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
There are two types of parking available:
- Zone B Parking – RV parking without amenities: €10.00 per day.
- Zone A Parking – RV parking with amenities: €20.00 per day.
The service area is equipped to provide greater comfort during your stay.
Car Parking – Saltino
For those arriving in Vallombrosa by car, the multipurpose parking lot on Via Giosuè Carducci, in the hamlet of Saltino, is available.
The parking lot is particularly convenient for visiting downtown Saltino, walking to Vallombrosa, or exploring the nature trails in the area.
Rates
During the months of May, June, July, August, and September, payments are accepted on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
The rates are:
- first 15 minutes free;
- €1.00 for the first hour;
- €1.50 for each additional hour;
- Minimum fare : €0.50.
