The festive mood lights up in Reggello with a rich calendar of events designed for all ages and tastes, including music, shows, tradition and Christmas magic. Still from December 18 to January 6, the area comes alive with special events to experience the beauty of Christmas together.
Wednesday, Dec. 18 with a double concert: at 9 p.m., at the Excelsior Theater, Gospel by the “Christ is the Answer” Association, while at the same time, at the Parish of San Donato in Fronzano, there will be a Christmas Concert with Maestro Edoardo Baldini and the New Chorale of Cancelli.
On Dec. 19, at 9:15 p.m., the Pieve di San Pietro in Cascia hosts the San Jacopo Chorale in a repertoire ranging from Monteverdi to Britten.
This is followed on Dec. 20 by a concert by the Ensemble “EstroInCanto” in the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Vaggio, while on Dec. 21 there will be a double event: the traditional Tombola in Piazza Potente (4 p.m.) and another Christmas concert in Cancelli (9 p.m.).
On Dec. 24, at 11:30 p.m., the Reggello Swing Orchestra gives its best wishes with a performance by the Giuseppe Verdi Philharmonic.
On Jan. 26 and Jan. 4, Tosi’s atmospheric Living Nativity is back, while on Dec. 28, the Municipal Library hosts the children’s show “The Epiphany Travels Through Time.”
On Dec. 31, at 10 p.m., the Excelsior Theater closes the year with the Bear Company‘s show, “The First Wives Club.”
Jan. 3, presentation of the book “Tuscan Folk Novels” at the library, and Jan. 5 children’s workshop at the Masaccio Museum.
Grand finale on Jan. 6 with “A record stocking,” a musical parade by the Sciacchetrà Street Band through the streets of Reggello and Cascia.
