From July 14 to 28, 2025, Reggello is transformed into a widespread stage thanks to the Festival of Culture – Summer Nights, now in its 11th edition. An unmissable event, promoted by the Municipality of Reggello in collaboration with local associations and important cultural partners, which every year enlivens villages, squares and evocative places with a very rich program designed for young and old.
The program
It starts on July 14 in the beautiful Villa Pitiana with a concert by the Dutch String Youth Orchestra, preceded by a dinner by reservation. On July 15 in Sant’Ellero the photo exhibition “My Country” curated by Carlo Benvenuti opens, followed by an exciting opera concert with soloists from theAccademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino at the Castle (UPDATE: July 15 event SOLD OUT).
On July 16 in Cancelli apericena with live music, while on July 17 in Donnini magic will take center stage along with musical performances and conviviality. July 19 is dedicated to a literary walk with Barbara Pumhösel and a festival of associations in the center of Reggello, including workshops, meetings and entertainment.
Great expectations on July 20 at the Excelsior Theater for the meeting with Sigfrido Ranucci, who will present his book “La Scelta “in dialogue with Patrizia Menghini and Matteo Pelli.
A Mexican Fiesta will be held in Cascia on July 23, followed on July 24 by the most romantic event, “Oliveta under the Stars,” with apericena, live music and theatrical improvisation.
July 25, feast of the patron saint St. Jacopo, will be celebrated with historical walk, Holy Mass, BandOrchestra concert and fireworks display.
The festival will close on July 28 with a guided tour of the Caselli church and a final concert by theEtruria Musica String Quartet in Potente Square.
A festival for all
The program offers children’s workshops such as “La Bottega di Geppetto,” performances such as “Sussi e Biribissi,” street food, literary aperitifs and widespread concerts thanks to the support of pro-loco and associations.
