From July 13 to 31, 2026, one of the most anticipated events of the summer in Reggello returns: the Festival of Culture – Summer Nights, now in its twelfth edition.
For nearly three weeks, Reggello and its surrounding villages will be transformed into one large, open-air stage, hosting concerts, theater performances, author talks, science outreach events, hikes, guided tours, workshops, outdoor movies, and family-friendly events.
The Festival was created with the goal of showcasing the region’s cultural, historical, and scenic heritage by holding events in places of extraordinary beauty—such as Romanesque parish churches, historic villas, museums, villages, squares, parks, and Vallombrosa—and offering opportunities for residents and visitors to come together and explore.
The Festival will be preceded by the exhibition “Saint Humility of Faenza (c. 1226–1310): Bride, Mother, Nun, ” on view from July 5 to October 25, 2026, at the Museum of Sacred Art at the Abbey of Vallombrosa, dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the saint’s birth.
