From June 24 to July 10, 2025, in the charming courtyard of the Pieve di San Pietro in Cascia (Reggello), one of the most anticipated cultural initiatives of the summer returns: Culture in the Courtyard. After a long hiatus, the event is renewed with a program full of emotions, reflections and beauty, offering four evenings of art, literature, music and contemporary spirituality.
Each event, starting at 9:15 p.m., will be preceded or followed by the opportunity tovisit the Masaccio Museum of Sacred Art, included in the entrance fee (€5).

📅 June 24 – “A magnificent obsession. Me, Masaccio and the Triptych “
The opening night will feature Maria Italia Lanzarini, curator of the Masaccio Museum, in a personal and passionate account of her encounter with the Triptych of San Giovenale, a founding work of the Renaissance. An intimate journey between study, emotions and timeless art.
📅 June 26 – “Angels in the Middle. Journey into the Poetics of Giotto “
Art historian Max Martelli will take the audience through Giotto’s revolutionary poetics, focusing on the particular depiction of the angels in the Scrovegni Chapel: figures “in the middle,” represented only from the bust up. An evocative and engaging narrative performance, with the participation of Silvia Romagnoli.
📅 July 8 – “De André ‘s Bible’ – Conference Concert
Theologian and essayist Brunetto Salvarani will explore the deep connection between Fabrizio De André” s work and Gospel themes. An exciting evening enriched by the voice and guitar of Massimo Cardelli and Alessandro Ricci, between timeless songs and spiritual reflections.
📅 July 10 – “What is missing cannot be counted. Solomon and the book of Qohelet ” – Conference concert
Again with Salvarani, accompanied by Cardelli and Ricci, we close the cycle with a meeting dedicated to the biblical book of Qoèlet. An enigmatic and powerfully human text, recounted between auteur music (Guccini, Fossati, Vecchioni, Branduardi…) and deep questions.
