September 12-16 – five days of performances, culture, tradition and… Japan!
One of the most anticipated events of the year is back: the Festa del Perdono di Reggello, scheduled for September 12-16, 2025. An event that combines tradition, innovation and this year opens a window on Japan and the Orient, with a calendar full of events that will involve the center of the town among performances, music, exhibitions and activities for the whole family.
In fact, the 2025 edition will feature an unprecedented cultural thread: the dialogue between Italy and Japan. Through cooking shows with Japanese chefs, kimono exhibits, origami workshops, concerts and a final parade of traditional clothes, Reggello will experience five days celebrating the beauty of the meeting of cultures.

Friday, September 12

Saturday, September 13
- 10:00 a.m. – Excelsior Theater, foyer: Opening of photo exhibition on Japan with display of historical kimonos (open every day of the Forgiveness, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. / 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.)
- 11:00 a.m. – Municipal Library: Inauguration of photo exhibition “Churches, castles and tabernacles in the Reggello area”
- 5:30 p.m. – Restaurant 1250: Cooking show “Reggello oil meets the East” with chef Kazuyuki Miura
- 7 p.m. – Garibaldi Square: “Origami Spritz” – workshop and art of origami
- 9:30 pm – Sports Hall: Show dance with international guests – by Magilù Dance Dream (in collaboration with Locanda dei Cantonieri)
- 9:30 p.m. – Piazza Potente: Palio dei Campanili, games among the hamlets – in collaboration with Consulta Giovani Reggello

- 5 p.m. – Potente Square: Puppet Brothers Festival – puppet show “Gianduja and the King’s Crown” (Turin Cricket Puppets) – by Pupi di Stac
- 7:00 p.m. – Restaurant 1250: On-sight preparation of “Sushi and Mochi” menu with Beppe Sushi Chef and Kazuyuki Miura + Japanese craft expo and tea tasting – in collaboration with Pro Loco Reggello Cascia
