On Sunday, June 1, 2025, Reggello will host one of the stages of the Tuscany Urban Cup circuit, the regional event dedicated to urban mountain biking. Now in its fourth edition, the circuit – promoted in collaboration with FCI Tuscany – aims to unite sport and the enhancement of the territory, bringing the adrenaline of two wheels through the most picturesque alleys and villages of Tuscany.
After the exciting stages of Casoli (LU) and Montelaterone (GR), the Tuscany Urban Cup makes a stop on the slopes of Pratomagno, in the scenic setting of Reggello, nestled between the Arno River and the centuries-old forests of Vallombrosa and Sant’Antonio. An area rich in history, breathtaking landscapes and unspoiled nature, which is preparing to welcome athletes and fans for a day of sport and discovery.
The event program includes:
- Meeting and card verification: from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in Potente Square
- Compulsory free practice: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Official race: 2 p.m. – two timed heats, with final ranking based on best timing
The Reggello stage is valid for the Regional Urban MTB Championship and will be organized with the support of the Municipality of Reggello andASD BabboBike, a local organization committed to the promotion of sport and amateur cycling.
This is an opportunity to discover Reggello in a different way, among curves and jumps that cross the historic part of the village, with an eye always turned toward the scenic wonders of Pratomagno and the iconic Balze di Montanino.
